You can find all the information regarding your team's AI Chatbot in Settings → AI Chatbot tab

Only Admins of Perfect Wiki can change the AI Chatbot settings. The updates will apply to the whole Perfect Wiki organization in both editor and reader modes.

What settings are available for the Perfect Wiki AI Chatbot?

Enabling/Disabling the AI Chatbot

In this tab you can choose if your want to use the AI bot for your knowledge or not - enable or disable the bot by using the switcher. 

If the AI Bot is disabled by the admin - it won't be visible in the reader mode as well.

AI Chatbot Customization

Chat Window

You can set your own welcome message that will be displayed when starting a chat with the AI Bot. This way you can make the AI Bot fit your company's policies and values. You can as well change name of the AI Bot so it has your company's name.

To do so:

  1. Go to Settings → AI Chatbot tab
  2. Find the Chat Window section
  3. Input the intended Chatbot Title and Welcome Message
  4. Hit Save

'Powered by Perfect Wiki' label can be disabled on the ENTERPRISE plan only

Not Found Response

To set a custom ‘Not Found’ Message for cases when the AI Bot can't find any relatable information in your knowledge base:

  1. Go to Settings → AI Chatbot tab
  2. Find the Not Found Response section
  3. Input the intended Not Found Message, you can include the email or sources your users can refer to if there's no information on their request in the knowledge base currently (see image below for an example)
  4. Hit Save

Chat Button

To customize the icon of your AI Chatbot:

  1. Go to Settings → AI Chatbot tab
  2. Find the Chat Button section
  3. Input the intended Chat Button label and choose the color you need
  4. It will also change the color of the buttons in the AI bot window
  5. Hit Save

Advanced Settings

In the Advanced Settings section you can enable or disable the usage of general knowledge from the web as well as set master prompts for your organization.

General Knowledge Usage

You can enable/disable the option of using General Knowledge from the web for the AI Bot answers.

General knowledge from the web is applied in cases when there's no direct mentioning of the topic in your knowledge base but the user's query is straightforward and a general answer can be applied, e.g. ‘What is an SOP?’.

This feature works well for glossaries and terms, as well as for the universal broad notions applicable to different fields of business.

To enable/disable the usage of general knowledge:

  1. Go to Settings → AI Chatbot tab
  2. Find the Advanced Settings section
  3. Check or Uncheck the box ‘Use General Knowledge’
  4. Hit Save

Master Prompt

Setting a Master Prompt for your Perfect Wiki organization helps training your AI Chatbot answering following the guidelines of your company, include or exclude certain information from the answers or follow a particular style and tone.

Formulate master prompts with caution, as the incorrect wording can disturb the work of your AI Chatbot.

Proper Master Prompts Example:

‘Always start with greeting the user’ or ‘Answer the questions in a polite professional tone’

Poorly Formulated master Prompt Example:

‘Do not use the content in perfect Wiki pages for the answers’ or ‘Answer No to every question’

To set a Master Prompt for the AI Bot:

  1. Go to Settings → AI Chatbot tab
  2. Find the Advanced Settings section
  3. Input the Master Prompt
  4. Hit Save
